Riccicedricdesign Action Effects is an suite of 7 automated retouching Actions for Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Photoshop CS3.

On this page, you will discover the effects this actions suite will produce on your photos. Each action is activated by a simple click in the Actions window or by using the dedicated shortcuts. The Riccicedricdesign Action Effects suite never directly alters your original photos. Some of them will duplicate your starting image or add the effects on a new layer in your layers tree.

This way you will be able to easily get back to your original picture or compare differences after applying each Action.

Sky Enhancer Effect

This action allows you to enhance a landscaped photo lacking contrast or over exposed. It combines a smart gradient to revive dull skies and a setting applied to the tonal of your photo. This action is optimal if your photo depicts a landscaped with sky in its higher half.

This action is represented by a pink button in the Actions window. It is labeled Sky Enhancer Effect [RCD] and can be applied to your photo by pressing the [F2] key. (Shortcut available only on Windows)

Bloom Effect

Allows to add a strong softening effect and tonal controls to your photo. This action simulates, in a stylish ways, a photo taken on a sunny day. This action works particularly fine on portraits.

This action is represented by a Orange button in the Actions window. It is labeled Bloom Effect [RCD] and can be applied to your photo by pressing the [F3] key. (Shortcut available only on Windows)

Glow Effect

Add a calm and diffuse ambiance to your picture, also softening unwanted details. It also revives the tonal and luminosity of your picture.

This action is represented by a yellow button in the Actions window. It is labeled Glow Effect [RCD] and can be applied to your photo by pressing the [F4] key. (Shortcut available only on Windows)

Nice Sepia Effect

Creates a stylish sepia effect and applies some diffusion effect to your photo.

This action is represented by a green button in the Actions window. It is labeled Nice Sepia Effect [RCD] and can be applied to your photo by pressing the [F5] key. (Shortcut available only on Windows)

B&W Converter Effect

This Action allows you to turn a colour photo into its black and white version, regulating the dark and bright tones, the photo’s noise and the relations between the original colours. This action simulates a traditional black and white filter placed in front of a camera lens.

This action is represented by a blue button in the Actions window. It is labeled B&W Converter Effect [RCD] and can be applied to your photo by pressing the [F6] key. (Shortcut available only on Windows)

Polaroid Frame Effect

Simulates the frame found around instant Polaroid photos. This action applies no adjustments to your picture; it only simulates the look of an instant photo’s frame.

This action is represented by a violet button in the Actions window. It is labeled Polaroid Frame Effect [RCD] and can be applied to your photo by pressing the [F7] key. (Shortcut available only on Windows)

Reflexion Frame Effect

Simulates the effect of a frame resting on a highly reflective surface. This action applies no adjustments to your picture; it only simulates the reflection of a photo with a simple frame.

This action is represented by a grey button in the Actions window. It is labeled Reflexion Frame Effect [RCD] and can be applied to your photo by pressing the [F8] key. (Shortcut available only on Windows)
